CAFÉ EXQUISITO: 3 consecutive summers from 2011 to 2013. Worked as a barista, and  waitress. Duties included taking care of customer expectations...ect.

If we are talking of fashion, I would have loved to be a fashion designer, but I love my career.

I know someday I will be collaborating with a fashion designer, maybe in a public relations event, I don’t know when, but I am pretty sure it’s going to happen someday.

One of my top NEW  favorite designers, they are an incredible team. 2 strong women capable of create simple piece with a special touch that make clothes shine in the runway or the street. 

The designers I am talking are named Julia and Renata, they live here in Guadalajara.

They studied fashion design at Guadalajara; and since 1993 in front of their own line, based on experimental materials, cuts and proportions, developed using principally traditional methods of Haute Couture, in a continuous search for new alternatives in the design. After winning their first prize in the contest Modapremio Mexico as illustrators, in 1994 they travelled to New York, where the stylist Patricia Field acquires its first collections to sell them in House of Field designs.

Julia and Renata are used by personalities from the music and film as Jessica Simpson, Winona Ryder, Ely Guerra and Alejandra Guzmán; in the delivery of MTV Latin America Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards, and in programs like "Fashionista" of MTV. In recent years they have been selected 2 of the top designers in Mexico; between 100 and 33 Mexicans with future, beside personalities of art, science, politics, cinema and sports. In Stockholm, Sweden, they  were invited along with 10 designers in the world by Absolut Vodka to design a limited edition inspired by the Famous Word bag. With his Lycractitud project, the Lycra brand sponsored Julia and Renata to promote design and create networks with Mexican textile manufacturers to work together. They got the Best runway project with the program “Elle México Diseña” 

MEET KRIS GOYRI

KRIS GOYRI

He began his passion for fashion when he was very young, motivated by the art, illustration, and color. Graduated in 2007 from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Moda "House of France" in the city of Mexico, where he obtained the main bases of design, developing a unique and  a charming style that allowed him to visualize, capture and create his  personality in every design he makes.

He began working within the industry making lines of women's clothing 'ready to wear' where he learned about the fashion business, but mostly soaked knowledge of materials and textures, which allowed him to do a perfect selection on   each piece.

 Each garment that Kris designs is intended for a very feminine woman, who balances perfectly her body and mind, who loves nature and highlights its beauty with unique pieces made with high quality materials usually natural as silk, flax and cotton, making magnificent colorful combinations;

Personally I believe it is never easy to start from the bottom, pursuing your own ideas, but if you truly want it, and you believe in what you are capable of, you will transcend. You will hit the bottom, and you will reach your goals. If you want it bad, you will have it.

Actually this is one of the truer things I have ever heard, everything starts with an idea, and it is up to you to create your own destiny and your own happiness by doing what you enjoy the most.
